STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. STEM occupations have been growing throughout the years and now your children can have the opportunity to immerse in STEM Activities from an early age at the Y!

Chess at Hayes-Taylor Y and Spears Y

The Chess Club allows youth and adults to play and practice their chess skills to improve their strategy and critical thinking, all in a fun and friendly environment.

Hayes-Taylor YMCA Chess Club

Spears YMCA Beginner Chess Class

Dates: September 9-October 21 | 7-7:55pm (Class will not meet on September 23)
Cost: $35 for YMCA Members, $50 for Community Guests

Private Piano Lessons at the Spears Y

Whether you're a beginner looking to learn how to play or someone looking to refine their skills, our instructor carefully considers the needs of each student. Private lessons are taught at the Spears Y by Nichole Bryan.

Ages: 5+ years
Cost for one 30-minute Lesson: $40 Members, $55 Community Guests
